I began my career as a Speech Language Pathologist in September 2001, under an Emergency Certification, working for the Monmouth-Ocean Educational Services Commission. My caseload consisted of students from Grade K thru Grade 9, in both public and private school settings. Upon graduation from Kean University in 2007, I accepted a Speech Language Specialist position in the Upper Township School District, mainly servicing students in their Middle School. Beginning the 2010-2011 school year, my services were shared with the Ocean City School District. This year I am excited to be working full-time at the Ocean City Intermediate and High School.

I grew up in Linwood, NJ and graduated from Mainland Regional High School. My home is in Manahawkin, NJ, exit 63 off the Garden State Parkway. I reside with my husband and two daughters, ages 23 and 25 years. I followed a non-traditional route to obtain my degree in Speech Pathology, by attending college part-time, while working full-time and raising a family. My profession permits me to interact with an extensive amount of people, which I find very exciting. On Friday evenings, I volunteer at the Pet Adoption Center in PetSmart. My hobbies include: reading, spending time on the beach, craft shows, and continuing my education.
